Honningbarna literally means “honey kids”, but there is nothing sweet about the band. The five youngsters are shouty, wildly energetic and have a lot on their mind. They sing in their mother-tongue, but even if you don’t understand the lyrics of songs like ‘Fri Palestina’ and ‘Noen Å Hate’ (“someone to hate”) you will certainly be able to enjoy the album. The young Norwegians are fast, furious and have an amazing knack of writing angry yet catchy tunes with a heavy scent of frustrated teenagers, anarchy and torn leather. ‘La Alarmane Gå’ is surely one of the best debut albums of 2011. And maybe even the best one…
